Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your PrepVibe account and personal data at any time — directly in the app, or by emailing us if you no longer have access to the app.

Option 1: Delete in the app

Open the PrepVibe app and sign in
Go to Profile → Settings → Privacy & Security
Tap Delete Account
Type DELETE to confirm, and submit

Your account is permanently deleted immediately after confirmation — this action cannot be undone.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email us at gulabmac45@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account (or with your registered mobile number) and the subject line "Delete My Account". We will verify your request and delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently delete or anonymize:

Your profile — name, username, email, phone number, photo, city, date of birth, gender, education/exam details
Your Study Map progress, quiz and mock-test history, streaks, and scores
Your discussion posts, comments, messages, and uploaded attachments (photos, PDFs)
Your PrepBattle registration details (name, phone, address, exam stream)

Data we may retain for a limited time

Purchase / payment records for PrepVibe Pro	Tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations	Up to 7 years, as required by Indian law
Backups containing your data	Disaster recovery	Purged on our routine backup rotation, typically within 90 days

This retained data is not used for any other purpose and is not visible in your (deleted) account.
